Head of Marketing to Kongskilde Industries

On behalf of Kongskilde Industries we are looking for a skilled and ambitious Head of Marketing with a strategic, analytical and digital mindset. The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing, implementing and driving the company’s global marketing and demand generation strategy to ensure the continued growth. Thus, you will get a key role in shaping and accelerating the company’s presence around the world.

About Kongskilde Industries

Kongskilde was established on 15 November 1949 in Lynge-Eskilstrup by the two brothers-in-law, Hans Tyndeskov and Mogens Petersen, when the mechanization of agriculture really took off in Denmark. The company's first product was grain blowers. Their legacy of innovation and passion for pneumatics spans more than 75 years and continues to accelerate with new technologies and bold ideas.

 

Kongskilde has unparalleled experience delivering precisely engineered, expertly manufactured, customer-specific pneumatic conveyance and material handling products for the plastics, paper, packaging, and agro-industries. The position

As the Head of Marketing at Kongskilde Industries, you will spearhead all marketing operations, ensuring the integrated commercial success of the company. Your primary focus will be on developing the organization's marketing activities and initiatives. You will take charge of executing the marketing plan, including regional and industry-specific activities. Given Kongskilde Industries' niche product portfolio, effective B2B and targeted marketing and communication efforts are crucial for reaching the right audience. Therefore, a strong digital and tech-savvy approach is essential to succed in the position.

 

You will play a crucial role in enhancing Kongskilde's market position by collaborating with the Sales team to develop strategies aimed at maturing leads, thereby driving sales efficiency and growth. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies across different regions and markets, specifically within the Industrial Division, Grain Division, and the subbrand Matho.

 

You will manage a global Marketing team, consisting of two direct reports, and work collaboratively with two marketing employees in the Global Centers. As a member of the Global Strategy Group, which includes six senior members, you will actively contribute to shaping the strategic direction of Kongskilde. There is a strong focus on developing the marketing function further to boost Kongskildes position in global markets and drive future success.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, execute, and lead marketing strategies for awareness and demand-generation.
  • In collaboration with the responsible marketing staff, preparation of KPI’s and sub-goals for tasks in the marketing landscape.
  • Increase the generated leads and create significant customer experiences through digital channels.
  • Build and nurture relevant customer segments through a top-down as well as bottom-up funnel approach.
  • Managing and coordinating various trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Project management with external partners.
  • Content creation for a variety of platforms, including websites, brochures, data sheets, videos etc.
  • Support and develop thought leader position through content, speaking engagements, etc.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of highly skilled and efficient marketing professionals.

 

Your primary place of work will be at the Kongskilde Headquarters in Sorø, Denmark. Additionally, there are sales offices located in Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, the UK, the USA, South Africa, and Thailand.

 

Your profile

Ideally, you hold a master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology or similar and come with minimum 8-10 years of experience as a marketing leader managing and developing teams. You possess strong business acumen and a deep understanding of marketing’s commercial role within an organization. Experience promoting technical products and services in a B2B setting is crucial, with an added advantage if you have previously worked with international or engineering companies.

 

As a marketing professional, you effortlessly navigate between the strategic and operational levels. In this role, you will lead a team of two dedicated colleagues, requiring a delicate balance between strategic planning and hands-on execution. You drive marketing efforts with a sharp growth mindset, influencing and nurturing relations with partners and vendors to drive sales. Experience in building and nurturing relevant customer segments is pivotal, along with staying abreast of digital marketing trends. You are an innovative, commercially driven, and data-oriented individual with a strong interpersonal aptitude and excellent stakeholder management skills. You possess the marketing flair and technical passion necessary to thrive in a global company, setting pioneering goals and steering a new marketing direction.

 

Analytically strong, you possess the drive and ability to source and synthesize data, insights, and information, transforming complex concepts into impactful and understandable language. As an outgoing and collaborative individual, you excel at engaging and managing multiple stakeholders across various seniority levels. Your curious and creative yet structured approach, coupled with well-documented work, ensures effectiveness in your endeavors.
