Revenue Manager for Awaze
On behalf of Awaze, we’ve got an exciting and pivotal new opportunity for an enthusiastic, commercially focused individual, to join the Revenue Management team as they look to continue to optimize the ‘staycation effect’ in their portfolio of European self-catering properties. Awaze is Europe’s largest manager of holiday rental properties, with 110,000 units under management in over 600 destinations in 25 countries across the continent. The purpose is simple – to delight owners and guests. The business operates more than 25 consumer brands including Cottages.com, Novasol, Hoseasons, Landal and James Villa Holidays. More than 8 million people stayed in one of their properties in 2019.
The vacation rental market has been growing strongly over the last few years, with people desiring the space, flexibility and uniqueness provided. The current global pandemic has only served to strengthen that trend. Summer 2020 & 2021 saw unprecedented demand and they’re not slowing down.
Reporting to the Manager of Revenue Performance, you will be a key commercial strategist in our organisation, responsible for the development and implementation of inventory and pricing propositions for our most strategic markets within Novasol brand.
Using market data to analyse demand and competitor activity you will make pricing and commercial strategies/recommendations with the aim of increasing market share and maximising the revenues of our portfolio of home owners.
You will champion, support and develop our Revenue Management service, tools and team to ensure ongoing development of Novasol revenue management discipline. You will build strong relationships with our stakeholders to ensure buy in, knowledge transfer and an holistic approach to the business.
Using our revenue management system and other revenue management tools you will be responsible for improving the performance of our individual property products. You will add new pricing information onto our systems and ensure that you are tracking and reporting on the output of pricing changes. You will develop strong commercial relationships with our internal stakeholders and hold regular meetings (both virtually and face to face) with them to ensure revenues are optimised and relationships developed, making sure we are set for continued mutual success.
The Awaze office is located in Virum, north of Copenhagen, and they offer a flexible work from home policy up to 2 days in the week.

- You’ll be hands on and have experience in a revenue management, pricing or market analysis role with the desire to continually improve business performance
- You’re commercially astute with proven analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to construct compelling business cases and encourage open dialogue, whilst building relationships
- A naturally inquisitive personality as the role will provide the hand-on opportunity to implement and learn industry leading revenue management techniques
- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment, delivering results against targets
- You’re passionate about travel and revenue management
- Ideally, you’ll have had some experience of working within leisure/travel
