Head of Digital Performance Marketing for Mouseflow

On behalf of Mouseflow, we are looking for a strong and driven Head of Digital Performance Marketing who can further develop and optimize their performance marketing setup to ensure a steady raise in awareness of their strong SaaS-based tool for performing web analytics and real-time user studies on websites, and to ensure a continuous increase in conversions. You will be responsible for all performance marketing channels and activities globally at Mouseflow, on a strategic as well as executional level.

Last year, 60% of Mouseflow was acquired by Offspring Capital. As a vital part of their further journey, Mouseflow looking for a talented Head of Digital Performance Marketing who can help unleash their potential, globally as well as locally. The position is based at their headquarters in Soho at the Meatpacking District of Copenhagen, close to the Central Station.

The position
As the new Head of Digital Performance Marketing at Mouseflow, you will be managing search engine optimization and online marketing activities, as well as have the overall responsibility for managing all SEO activities, including content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to help increase customer acquisition. You will also manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI, and be responsible for setting and reaching KPI’s for digital performance.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Building and optimizing a state-of-the-art performance marketing setup
  • Executing tests, collecting and analyzing data and results, as well as identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Setting and managing KPI’s for digital performance
  • Be responsible for tracking and developing of the dashboard
  • Managing campaign expenses on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
  • Establishing and optimizing landing pages for search engine relevance
  • Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
  • Researching and implementing search engine optimization recommendations
  • Researching and analyzing competitor advertising links
  • Developing and implementing link building strategy
  • Developing and executing social media and content strategies

As Head of Digital Performance Marketing, you will work closely with colleagues and external partners, in order to ensure that SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code, as well as drive SEO in content creation and content programming. It will also be your role to recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords, and find your way to the best content recommendations that will ensure organic SEO success.

Your profile
The ideal candidate comes with proven SEO and SEM experience, as well as a track record of managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing. We expect you to have a solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition, as well as in-depth experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture and WebTrends. It is a definite plus if you are experienced in bid management tools like Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo and Search Ignite, and we expect you to have working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development and constraints.

To succeed in the role, you should have a solid knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms, and you are interested in keeping up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM. You come with strong English language skills, written as well as oral, and it is important that you have a Danish working permit and that you are located close to Copenhagen. As a person, you are driven and innovative, and you can be described as a self-starter who is ready to take on a challenge and who possesses great professional pride.
