The position
In this position as Senior Software Product Manager you will be joining a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out software solutions that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. You will become a key member of our Software Product Manager team within the Jabra Product Management group and will define and execute the next generation software-driven Jabra product experiences that will add value to the Jabra portfolio. Further, you will be responsible for brand recognition and attract new users to Jabra. In this position it is essential that you are able to visualize and clarify the opportunities and coordinate all initiatives related to software and apps solutions across functions and regions. Aside from working with your team, you will also work closely with various internal functions such as Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, R&D as well as external software and application partners, key customers and application forums, etc. In this position you will get an opportunity to build a career in a leading global company, where you can be challenged and at the same time drive impact by participating a very exiting journey and make it yours. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze the customers and the market including competitor products, end-user needs and behaviors
  • Translate trends in the global application and services ecosystem, such as digital assistant services, AI and big data into Jabra product opportunities
  • Identifying business value by working with our sales, pre-sales teams, and crafting innovative commercial proposals for customers
  • Define the vision for your product and excite internal stakeholders and key external partners; act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • For agreed solutions, work with relevant internal and external parties to create detailed requirements delivering great user experience
  • Drive the software and apps development together with the HW product management team, Jabra R&D and partners
  • Be a key partner of internal and external sell-in of software driven solutions.


Your profile

The ideal candidate to this position holds a master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar and comes with +5 years’ of experience from a similar position as Product Manager within Software, preferably from an international company. It is a clear advantage if you have a background as developer, experience of working with customer electronics and if you have a solid record of accomplishment of developing software solutions with both internal and external partners. Further, the ideal candidate is very strategic-thinking and has experience in creating software Product Strategy, Roadmaps and experience in building an execution plan. To be successful in this job, it is essential that you possess strong solving skills and a “can do” attitude and have a knowledge of software solutions in embedded systems.

In addition to above mentioned, the ideal candidate possesses following:

  • Domain knowledge in public cloud-based systems.
  • Knowledge and experience of SaaS principals and business models.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SW product Management
  • Strong project management skills within enterprise SW and/or IT.
  • Is fluent in English and hold strong presentation skills.
