As Senior Digital Marketing Manager you will become part of GN Hearing’s Digital Marketing & Performance team within Global Marketing – a team at the forefront of the digital transformation that GN Hearing has embarked on. At GN, we strive to become even more customer centric, work with a digital-first approach and commercial mindset, deliver tangible long-term outcomes, and operate truly networked within the business. As part of this we are currently strengthening many of the critical competencies, such as customer insights, digital planning and activation, and are creating a more flexible hybrid in-house creation set-up.
Your main responsibility is to take the lead on driving strategic and tactical customer journey planning across digital touchpoints while acting as a change agent for digital transformation within the global organization. You will be responsible for digital campaign strategy, tactics and planning on a global scale, driving both the digital sales enablement and lead generation agenda and practice for GN Hearing’s more digitally mature markets, as well as driving the product launch delivery model for supporting less digitally mature markets with sound digital marketing inputs, guidance and assets. Thus, your responsibilities cover both ongoing digital demand generation programs as well as one-off tactical planning for global product launches. In short, you will own overall planning and progression of the marketing side of the digital customer journey (paid media, email marketing/automation, etc.)
To fulfil the role of Senior Digital Marketing Manager your drive and high pace is your main assets. You will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders (agencies/vendors etc.), putting your knowledge of digital business development across different platforms to use in a digital change agent role. It is key that you possess the drive, skills and seniority to take on the responsibility of leading and transforming global marketing strategies in a digital direction and pushing this agenda in the central organization as well as locally with all the GNH markets. In your role of planning and passionately driving the holistic digital agenda you will be assisted by the Digital Marketing and Performance Team consisting of 10 dedicated professionals in varying fields, for implementing our digital customer experiences and driving the change with you.
You will report directly to Rune Kiowsky, Director, Head of Global Digital Marketing and Performance, and work from GN Hearing’s HQ in Ballerup, Copenhagen. You can expect approx. 20 travel days per year to the US, Japan and/or Europe (can be negotiated).
We are looking for a highly driven strategic and commercially minded generalist, preferably with a specialist background in one or more digital disciplines. The ideal candidate comes with 5-10 years of experience from an international corporation or from a larger digital or media agency with responsibility for managing complex corporate clients. You have a deep understanding of the digital eco-system and the touchpoints of the digital customer journey, including SEM, SEO, display/programmatic, social as well as owned media, and how each of the touchpoints play a role in the customer experience – and you know the relevant metrics for measuring success. It is expected that you can plan and orchestrate projects to meet milestones and that you can rally people around this. Thus, solid project management skills and excellent stakeholder alignment/management skills are required.
Moreover, you are a great communicator and are used to sharing thoughts and ideas as well as presenting findings in English, verbally and written. Your personality is outgoing and forthcoming, and you are confident in your skills and display initiative in fulfilling your responsibilities – but are at the same time a true and motivating team player. Furthermore, you have a high drive for making progress in a complex organisation and are able to push your colleagues and stakeholders diplomatically and patiently. And finally, you are motivated to work with digital transformation and driving the digital agenda within a globally leading company helping people all over the world to hear more, do more and be more that they thought possible.
