Senior Art Director for LIEWOOD

On behalf of LIEWOOD, we are currently looking for a talented & conceptual Senior Art Director to join the graphic design team. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the entire visual brand identity together with the Creative Lead.

LIEWOOD is an international kids' lifestyle brand designing and producing accessories, interior and selected clothing for babies and children. LIEWOOD products are created with a sustainable mindset - from design and functionality to carefully selected materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, wood and silicone, following the highest quality standards.

LIEWOOD is a dynamic, design-driven, and highly commercial company in rapid growth - founded in 2015 by Anne Marie Lie Norvig with the desire and commitment to create a unique kid's lifestyle brand focusing on functionality, aesthetics and sustainability. LIEWOOD is based in Copenhagen, and our universe is deeply rooted in the Nordic design tradition.


Your profile

Your background is a graphic/visual education, as a graphic designer/Art Director or similar. You have at least 5 years of experience being an Art Director and comes with a strong background in online and digital design – preferably from a LIEWOOD comparable in­dustry, brand, or from an agency. You are strong in both idea, concept, and execution on all platforms as well as being creative and innovative.

Furthermore, you work in a structured way and coordinate graphic projects as well as digital and printed materials. Likewise, you are a strong storyteller across platforms and understand how to engage an audience – internally & externally.

Additionally, you are a distinct team player who can also take responsibility and carry out your own tasks. You follow what is happening in the world, what trends are moving, and who sets the agenda in communication to different target groups.

Also, you are a super user of InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator. Preferably, you have experience with Motion Graphics and/or film production. At last you master English and Danish at a high professional level, both in writing and orally.

Your main tasks include the following:

  • Branding and visual identity
  • Development of ideas and visual concepts
  • Development of content for digital channels
  • Concept development in connection with the launch of collections
  • Planning and preparation of content for both print and digital in collaboration with the Creative Lead
  • Development of sales material, both B2B and B2C
  • Development and updating of packaging design, in collaboration with the design department
  • Execute and work under tight deadlines.

Your base will be at our head office in central Copenhagen. You will refer directly to the Head of Marketing
