The position

Working within Anthill’s largest commercial business unit led by their senior Vice President of Sales, the Senior Account Manager’s role includes being a proactive partner for the agency’s clients, driving towards their business goals. You will hence be an integrated part of the commercial team with the ambition to always be one step ahead of clients in order to motivate and inspire them to strengthen their digital communication presence.

The commercial team is the focal point of Anthill’s product innovation and project delivery. Thereto, you will work closely together with the Strategy Team, the Creative team and the visionary Tech Department, and daily be engaged in close collaboration with the Client Excellence Managers, including Account and Project Management

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Running the client dialogue on a day-to-day basis, supported by the VP of Sales and Senior Account Manager within the business unit
  • Through close collaboration and communication, understanding the client business goals and identifying business opportunities
  • Responsible for managing own clients, including budgets
  • Engaging new customer relationships

The position is located at Anthill’s headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, where you will be part of a highly experienced team with high-profile clients in the life sciences industry and work across borders within an international team of 18+ nationalities.


Your profile

To thrive in the position, you have a strong flair and interest in communicating views on development potential for your clients and are a persistence profile with a true a desire to succeed.

Following skills are essential:

  • A degree within business, marketing, digital or a similar area
  • A background and experience within pharmaceutical marketing, strategy, sales or business development
  • Strong communication skills, especially within pharma sales and marketing
  • Excellent English skills, oral as well as written, and any other spoken language is seen as a great plus
  • Solid stakeholder management and negotiation skills, and experience in supervising and managing multiple projects at the same time

Moreover, you have a technical and digital interest and curiosity, hence are able to comprehend digital topics and specialized information. You are characterized by a high independence, come with an impressive development ambition and are a true problem solver, who continues the work despite any challenge that may come. By paying attention to detail, you make sure that your work is always executed accurately and thoroughly and find it natural to deliver against set objectives and make sure to include both your clients and team in your projects.
