On behalf of GroupM we are looking for a driven and proactive SEM Specialist who will be responsible for managing search strategies from planning to execution within specific client portfolios.

As SEM Specialist at GroupM you will be responsible for the planning and execution of search strategies within your own client portfolio. As you will be a part of client teams and directly engaging with clients of GroupM, it is important that you have experience managing client relations and that you possess strong communication skills and client understanding making you capable of identifying and meeting client needs. You have experience with client presentations, and you present in a convincing and professional manner. Aside from client management, you will be trusted with the daily responsibility of search execution on selected clients. You will be working closely with Search Specialists within the GroupM network, and professional sparing is important in order to increase efficiency, quality and client satisfaction. Aside from sparring with Search Specialists, you will also be engaging in knowledge sharing with digital and client employees thereby underlining the importance of your people and communication skills. As SEM Specialist, you are required to actively participate in ERFA meetings and knowledge sharing, and it will be your responsibility to ensure trust in the execution of SEM and potentially YouTube. Moreover, you will be responsible for the development of search offerings both in GroupM as well as in associated agencies.
In order to reach your full potential in the position, it is important that you have extensive hands-on experience, and that you are familiar with operating the machinery. The position requires a candidate who is experienced in running campaigns and who knows how the operation works, thus it is likely that you have previously had your own website.
In the position as SEM Specialist you will be directly referring to the Team Lead, and you will have some contact with the Head of Search. Your time will be distributed between execution, taking up approximately 65% of your working load, client strategies & meetings, taking up roughly 25%, and lastly product development, which will take up ca. 10% of your time spent on the job.
The ideal candidate for the position as SEM Specialist is an energetic individual with a great drive. You have 1-2 years of experience from previously working with SEM, but most importantly you are a fast learner and very eager to make your contribution to the GroupM network.
