The position

The position as Sales Development Consultant is a great opportunity for a driven self-starter, passionate about technology, commerce and sales. Entering the position, you will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for your Account Executive partners, and in close partnership with the marketing and sales teams, you will work on outbound campaigns and qualify active buying interests and identify critical decision makers to successfully help Orchestra’s further growth.

You will join Orckestra at their European bridgehead in Copenhagen, Denmark, and report directly to the General Manager for Orckestra Europe. The position is an individual contributor role that reports to a sales manager, who values in-the-moment coaching, weekly one on ones as well as autonomy to allow you to own your success. And if you show high performance and a strong representation of the Orckestra Core Values, you have the potential to pursue new challenges and career advancement within the sales organization.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Creative outbound prospecting within your territories and named accounts
  • Leverage sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to network with potential customers
  • Gain business knowledge through researching how different businesses operate, leadership structures, what their pain points are and challenges they face every day
  • Contact prospects through high volume cold calling, targeted emails, social selling and networking with professionalism, persistence and organization
  • Schedule appointments with leads for your Account Executive counterparts to engage in discovery sessions
  • Develop qualified leads for the Account Executives and collaborate with them on the different leads in the pipeline
  • Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.)

Your profile

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience from a similar position and are able to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. If you moreover have knowledge of Hubspot and a bachelor’s degree, it is considered as a great plus. You are a true team player, who thrives working collaboratively and cross functionally, and you possess the skills to understand signs, trends and habits and subsequently turn them into meaningful and useful data. With excellent English presentation and communications skills, you are comfortable in taking the stand, participating in conversations and answering unexpected questions, but despite your individual drive, you show empathy for customers’ and their challenges and are always intellectually curious for sales and sales processes. Moreover, you are result-oriented and goal-driven and have a structured and organized approach to achieve your goals.

As a person, you are a motivated, openminded and enthusiastic, and you always take pride in contributing to and achieving common and ambitious goals. Thus, you enjoy working both individually and in teams, and are intellectually curious. With a strong drive, you show resilience in the face of objections and challenges, and are eager to show your passion for sales and sales processes within a leading provider of modern commerce solutions.
