To ensure that Louis Poulsen’s product information is updated, accurate and maintained, we are looking for a data driven and outgoing Product Information Manager, who will be responsible for updating, qualifying and structuring product data, supporting best practice use of data management systems, and assisting in the development of the strategic long-term roadmap.

About Louis Poulsen

Louis Poulsen is a Danish lighting manufacturer founded in 1874 and born out of the Scandinavian design tradition where form follows function. The position

As part of the Group Marketing & Digital team, you will play a key role in ensuring correct, up-to-date and validated product sales master data, images, instructions, guidelines and prices for all output needs. You will moreover assist in the development of the strategic long-term roadmap, the project plan, and collaborate with other digital platform roles as well as technical and customer experience managers to develop additional marketing capabilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for the quality control of data.

You will thus have many internal touchpoints and manage and coordinate daily activities with external partners. You will furthermore be responsible for coordination and process optimization in collaboration with departments in various markets, specifically in relation to product launches, updates and availability to different markets and on different channels.
Based on input from Brand and Communication, Product and Design, and internal master data from SAP and other sources, the new Product Information Manager will be responsible for creating and enriching all product related sales product information in Perfion and other relevant databases while identifying, developing and integrating business processes and workflows, particularly in relation to product launches, and ensuring teams are implementing best practices within PIM.

To succeed in the position, it is essential that you have a highly structured approach, excellent coordination skills and an extroverted and openminded attitude, making you able to communicate and interact across teams and stakeholders. You are service oriented and are motivating by optimize deliveries and supporting markets as well as planning and evaluating activities.

You will work out of Louis Poulsen’s HQ at Holmen, Copenhagen, next to KADK and several prominent design and architectural practices and report directly to the Director, Group Marketing & Digital. 


Your profile

We are looking for a problem-solving and structured profile with analytical flair and a natural drive, who has the ability to run with your own tasks and ensure that targets and goals are met.
The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in Information Science, Communications or an equivalent area of study, and comes with minimum 2 years of experience from a similar position – preferably from an international organization with global stakeholders. It is vital that you have a highly analytical approach and that you thrive in a role where managing databases and large datasets is a key responsibility and task.

You have hands-on experience structuring, enriching and qualifying product information, ensuring its accessibility and usability, and experience with PIM platforms is required. It is moreover essential that you are proficient in Excel. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage but not a requirement. You are highly organized and have an eye for details, while at the same time possessing good project management skills, an understanding of governance structures and an ability to understand the bigger picture of the business you are working for.
Excellent English communication skills are required, as you’ll be working in an international environment and with stakeholders from all over the globe.
