Media Manager, Marketing for JYSK
On behalf of JYSK we are looking for a Media Manager, for a newly established role, who will be responsible for optimizing the media spend of a 2 billion media budget across 28 countries and join growth and success stories, 40 colleagues, great satisfaction among employees and investments to expand markets. You will become part of the Campaign and Media team and work from the Head Office in Brabrand, Aarhus.

As Media Manager for JYSK, your main responsibility is to optimize media investments to secure both short- and long-term ROI. The Media Manager position is new in JYSK and part of an ambitious plan to optimize the media spend by investigating the interaction between different media and incorporate these insights into new ways of working with media. In this role you will be a part of a busy and exciting workday with a lot of potential to affect the overall JYSK results.
Furthermore, you will be involved in the overall media plan for more than 28 JYSK countries. You will get great possibility for personal development and you will work across many interfaces both internally in JYSK but also with external agencies.
You will be part of the Campaign and Media team with 16 people in the Marketing department, and you will refer to our Head of Campaign and Media. The media team consists of 3 employees, hereunder with responsibility for tv, print advertisement and media coordination. You will possibly have 1 employee in reference, and with the ambition of expanding the team even more..
- Planning meaningful holistic media experiences across all platforms; tv, print and digital.
- Managing media budgets across 28 global markets.
- Influencing, evaluating and strategizing on placement of media packages.
- Manage collaborating with media agency and Google partner, to optimize and create larger synergy across all media efforts.
- Collaboration and advisory of district managers.
- Optimizing the bridge between marketing and e-business.
- Management of employee/employees.

The ideal candidate comes with experience working with both online and offline media (tv, print and digital). You could be an Account Manager, Planner or Project Manager for a media or advertising agency or Media Manager for a similar industry/brand. It is a plus if you have management experience, as you will be responsible for the assistants in the team. You know your way around numbers; both regarding analyzing, but also preparing and optimizing budgets. Thereto you understand the need for basing decisions on facts rather than believes. You enjoy collaborating with other people, but are also capable of working and taking decisions independently. Further, you can accept that global standards and concepts are needed when working with 28 countries.
