Louis Poulsen is a Danish lighting manufacturer founded in 1874 and born out of the Scandinavian design tradition where form follows function. As the new Marketing Manager, you will get a broad and essential marketing responsibility across B2B and B2C segments, showing your flair for especially digital marketing. Entering into a new role in the Group Marketing & Digital team, you will be greatly involved in future projects and business development working closely with agencies and internal departments such as Brand & Communication, local and regional Brand/PR, customer service and sales. You will play a key role in the implementation and development of tools, platforms and services within Louis Poulsen; particularly, you will become responsible for building up Louis Poulsen’s future marketing automation and CRM setup and improving the company’s performance in direct marketing channels. This involves setting up flows, ensuring the right content, and defining best practice for Louis Poulsen’s global markets.
Your main responsibilities include:
Plan and execute overall marketing, campaign, activation, content plans and content creation, including newsletters and trigger flows, and secure relevant, ongoing communication to all target groups
Co-create media plans with external agencies and local/regional Brand and PR managers
Optimize ROAS and ensure alignment across markets
Set up, structure and develop e-mail marketing platform
Create and implement a loyalty programme for different target groups
Evaluation of efforts to improve performance and share learnings
You will work out of Louis Poulsen’s HQ at Holmen, Copenhagen, next to KADK and several prominent design and architectural practices. You will report to the Director, Group Marketing & Digital.
We are looking for an analytical and digital senior marketing profile, ideally with a master’s degree within marketing, communication or similar and minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience in B2B and B2C marketing management from a leading agency or international company.
You have a broad and solid understanding of the wider disciplines of marketing, branding and positioning, but with deep digital knowledge and experience across lead generating channels. Generally, you are used ti working with a data- and performance-driven mind-set, ensuring that all initiatives are backed up by numbers and can be measured and reported back on in terms of performance.
Since you will interact daily with colleagues across levels and disciplines as well as with counterparts in Louis Poulsen’s sister brands, it is essential that you are a strong communicator with excellent English communications skills. It is key that you are able to clearly state your visions and that you enjoy expressing your ideas through words.
Besides a data driven approach, strategic flair and strong business acumen, you are a hands-on do’er who thrives in an environment where all hands are on deck and everybody helps each other out. You are a true people person with an open-minded attitude and an understanding for cultural differences.
Moreover, you are a structured problem-solver with a natural curiosity and urge to challenge the status quo.
