Head of E-commerce for Tretti.se

We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven and customer-centric Head of E-commerce who will be P/L responsible for E-Commerce for WhiteAway Group, Sweden, utilising the brands Tretti.se, WhiteAway.se and Enemo.se. In this influential position, you will drive revenue optimization and performance development of their strong brands in the Swedish market, playing a key role in realizing the ambitious future vision of WhiteAway Group.

The position
As Head of E-commerce, you will have a core focus on sales and revenue generation across the brands Tretti.se, WhiteAway.se and Enemo.se to make a true impact on a scale-up at the verge of new adventures. You will be responsible for the campaigns targeting the Swedish market and for localizing the company brand sites to improve website performance and drive sales through sales channels. Your areas of responsibility further includes finding and developing relevant partnerships to drive revenue growth. It is thus expected that you contribute with an in-depth understanding of local end-customer needs to secure value creation, outstanding service levels and right pricing to Swedish clients. With strong business acumen and a commercial drive, you will analyze and enhance the purchasing journey to take the company and the customer experience to new heights. Thereto, you will be trusted with a strategic and business development responsibility in securing best-in-class logistics and distribution solutions. WhiteAway Group has big plans and high ambitions for this area, and you will co-drive it together with other internal peers. In this regard, the first step is to maximize value creation of their new warehouse and last mile logistics set-up, whereas the second step entails analyzing the market and customer expectations to co-develop improved and relevant services and offerings in collaboration with the logistics team.

In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to manage all aspects of the E-commerce business. In close cooperation with the marketing team, you will drive the sales and campaign planning, oversee execution and monitor results through follow-ups on the daily and monthly sales performance. On top of having P&L and budgeting responsibility, you will be engaged in ongoing dialogues with marketing regarding the allocation of a significant marketing budget, to discuss investment needs and to follow up on ROI. In tight collaboration with purchasing, marketing, logistics and pricing teams, you will moreover define the overall direction for a mixed product strategy, test new product groups, secure strong delivery services, ensure sales of inventory as well as monitor the implementation of pricing strategies.

In your role as a leader, you are responsible for the daily management and development of the Swedish e-commerce sales team, where you encourage knowledge sharing and ensure best practices in your own team as well as across WhiteAway Group’s entire e-commerce unit. At last, you will provide relevant insights into market- and competitor analyses with the objective to optimize and develop performance, ensuring that such knowledge is leveraged and shared internally and that the necessary actions are pursued with relevant stakeholders inside and outside of the E-commerce unit.

Your areas of responsibility include:

  • P&L and budget responsibility, including daily and monthly follow-ups on sales performance and ensure an appropriate balance between short- and long-term investments and resource allocation.
  • Secure the positioning and market shares on the Major Domestic Appliances and Small Domestic Appliances marketplace from a profitability and cost perspective.
  • Improve site attractiveness in alignment and collaboration with other teams and drive sales through relevant channels to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Lead and oversee planning, execution, performance and ROI on sales and marketing campaigns in close collaboration with marketing.
  • Brief and cooperate with internal teams on strategy and needs concerning logistics, services, IT and the Customer Contact Centre.
  • Daily management as well as motivation and development of the Swedish E-commerce sales team.
  • Strengthen and develop good relationships with stakeholders across WhiteAway Group, including purchasing, logistics, Customer Contact Centre and retail.
  • Endorse best-in-class end-to-end customer experience.

The Head of E-commerce reports to the Chief E-commerce Officer of WhiteAway Group and will primarily be measured on the ability to meet the company’s revenue-, sales- and profitability targets, both from a short- and long-term perspective.

Your profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with an entrepreneurial, commercial and customer focused approach to drive profitable growth and generate revenue, preferably from the retail industry or online product sales. We see that you hold a relevant degree within commercial studies coupled with some financial qualifications or training. You have minimum 7 years of experience within digital sales and leadership and can present clear results to substantiate it.

To succeed in this role, you come with solid expertise and deep know-how of the Swedish market and local needs, simultaneously as you manage to establish and build good relationships with the HQ in Denmark. Excellent stakeholder management and people skills are thus a must. With strong business acumen, you quickly grasp business models and purchasing journeys, and with previous E-commerce experience, you also know how to combine expertise in sales, marketing, technology, and management to deliver a superior shopping experience for all customers.
