Head of Digital for LIEWOOD
On behalf of LIEWOOD, we are currently looking for an ambitious Head of Digital, to expand and optimize the tech stack at LIEWOOD. You will be a part of a fast-growing global brand, and a dynamic team powered by ambition, passion for design, and strong business acumen.
LIEWOOD is an international kids' lifestyle brand designing and producing accessories, interior, and selected clothing for babies and children. LIEWOOD products are created with a sustainable mindset - from design and functionality to carefully selected materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, wood and silicone, following the highest quality standards.
Liewood designs conceptually strong products – respecting the tenderness and innocence of childhood and the lifestyle of modern families. Their products can follow contemporary families everywhere – with different purposes in mind. LIEWOOD is a dynamic, design-driven, and highly commercial company in rapid growth - founded in 2015 by Anne Marie Lie Norvig with the desire and commitment to create a unique kid's lifestyle brand focusing on functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. LIEWOOD is based in Copenhagen, and the universe is deeply rooted in the Nordic design tradition.
As Head of Digital you will be overall responsible for all digital platforms. You will lead the end-to-end digital delivery, and you will serve as a technical advisor for the different departments internally. Moreover, you will optimize the existing tech stack and define digital projects and solutions for future growth. As the Head of Digital, you possess a good understanding of, what it takes to manage a tech stack in a fast-growing company.
You will be responsible for a team of 4-6 employees, and the team will grow over time. Your role will be to strengthen the team through transparent leadership and guidance. As a strong team leader, you will support the needs of the business whilst fostering the skills and development of the team. The Head of Digital will be referring to the CFO, Mikkel Bjerg Kjærsgaard.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the digital transformation in a scaleup corporation
- Develop LIEWOODs global B2B e-commerce solution
- Oversee IT implementations across departments and continuously improvements
- Responsible for back-office applications, including ERP and PLM
- Optimizing and implementing digital systems and IT infrastructure
- Define, develop, and own initiatives that can improve the overall performance of the digital team
- Implementation of Data warehouse /Power BI
- Financial responsibility including budget and spending
The ideal candidate can work purposefully with digital innovation as a strategic tool to boost LIEWOOD’s growth, create digital awareness and support business scalability. You possess solid tech skills, and you need to be able to optimize digital solutions and forsees new possibilities. You have an analytical and data driven mindset and are comfortably stretching from an operational to the strategic level. Preferably you have experience within the retail business.
As a person you have a strong interest in process improvements, and you like to find ways to make processes more efficient and streamlined. You possess emphatic, and collaborative leadership skills, and can supervise and manage multiple projects at the same time.
Additionally, it is a great benefit that you come with experience from scaleup businesses and can demonstrate the ability to navigate in international settings. Experience with digital safety and communicating technical concepts, questions and problems for non-technical stakeholders is a plus.
