Global Head of Digital Marketing for Vaimo

The new Global Head of Digital Marketing will report to the CSO/Head of Sales and operate in a global arena, while being based at any of Vaimo’s offices around the world.
As the new Global Head of Digital Marketing, you will enter a dynamic and fast-growing company in which you will have an overarching responsibility to strengthen Vaimo’s position as the leading digital commerce solution partner. The digital marketing team is fully in the driver’s seat of positioning Vaimo in the market as thought leaders and experts in digital commerce. In this respect, you will not arrive to a set table, but instead be encouraged and recognized for setting the direction yourself.
In this global role, you will be driving the operational agenda on how to reach, attract and impact Vaimo’s defined target companies. You will work in close collaboration with the global sales team, with the common goal of increasing Vaimo’s presence in the market by attracting and engaging relevant audiences. With great stakeholder management skills, you will secure close collaboration with local markets simultaneously as you get the global stakeholders onboard. Furthermore, you will be responsible for Vaimo’s partner marketing strategy and activation.
More specifically, you responsibilities will include
- Develop, lead, and drive the execution of Vaimo’s global digital marketing strategy
- Drive initiatives to execute on the strategic targets set for our digital marketing
- Work closely with Country Managers on localising the global digital content strategy
- Identify gaps in the global digital content strategy and local execution
- Coordinate the work and increase synergies between the global marketing team and local teams in EMEA and US
- Lead and develop the global marketing team, currently consisting of five members
- Partner marketing including plan, activate and lead digital marketing initatives and activities with partners such as Adobe
As the ideal candidate, you possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a senior consultant or a leader in a digital agency and an academic background within marketing, business, or similar. Preferably, you have previously held global roles and/or worked in international settings where you have proven your abilities to cooperate effectively between countries, teams and competencies. Thus, you possess excellent people and stakeholder management skills and have a talent for building long-term and trusting relationships both internally and externally.
You come with extraordinary energy and drive, as well as exceptional communication and collaboration skills which you leverage in order to present and sell new ideas with credibility, clarity and enthusiasm. With a relentless willpower, motivation and “can do” attitude, you also know how to get your ideas executed and ensure that the new initiatives are pursued. To put it simply, you enjoy turning business objectives into actionable outcomes.
You are a strategic leader with a hands-on approach. An essential foundation to succeed in this role is solid experience with digital marketing, lead generation through digital channels, SEO and SEM. Your skills and experience are particularly strong within analytics, different types of marketing and lead generation tools, and content creation, both in narrative and visual formats.
