eCommerce Manager for Royal Copenhagen

On behalf of Fiskars Group, we are looking for a curious and ambitious eCommerce Manager for the Royal Copenhagen brand who will become responsible for driving growth through strategic and tactical activities as well as managing the daily operations of the eCommerce platform and team. You will thus play a key role in driving the growth of Royal Copenhagen and promoting their digital presence.

The role is based at the Royal Copenhagen HQ in Glostrup, Denmark.

The position  

In this position, you will be the center of the Royal Copenhagen eCommerce development. Royal Copenhagen is at the beginning of a journey, building a substantial direct-to-consumer eCommerce business. With an ambition to grow considerably over the coming years, you will be joining a key strategic program to ensure the growth of Royal Copenhagen and ultimately the larger Fiskars Group. Through your knowledge of relevant trends and experience in innovating and utilizing eCommerce you will endeavor to apply your skillset to create and execute on their growth plan.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Royal Copenhagen eCommerce team
  • Driving growth of eCommerce revenue through effective execution of strategy and tactical digital initiatives
  • Aggressively growing their return on investment and revenue from paid and organic search and social media, working with our external agency
  • Managing the daily operations for Royal Copenhagen´s global and regional websites
  • Managing marketing and sales activities, including overseeing optimization of category pages, price lists, promo-codes, and other updates
  • Working with the digital team and Royal Copenhagen’s Brand team to define a vision for their eCommerce experience
  • Running an effective online merchandising and content management workflow
  • Taking ownership of website performance and optimization roadmap
  • Developing new ways of improving conversion rates and commercial performance
  • Building effective relationships and alignment with offline sales channels

The role greatly contributes to the continuous success of Royal Copenhagen and your achievements will be pivotal for the brand’s growth.  

The eCommerce Manager will report to the Fiskars Group direct-to-consumer eCommerce Director, Jonas Weibull.

Your profile

The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in Business, Technology or Marketing. Furthermore, you have relevant experience and a successful track record in an eCommerce or digital marketing role, with experience in leading a team and working in a matrix organization. In addition, you have the ability to navigate ambiguity and change with a proactive attitude. It is thus essential that you are highly empathetic but also able to drive performance in a complex setting.

To fulfill the role, it is important that you are fluent in both written and spoken English, as English is the corporate language across the Fiskars Group. You have strong communication skills, and you know how to effectively share knowledge and plans with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
