On behalf of GN Hearing, we are currently looking for a strategically and commercially driven Director of E-commerce and Digital Costumer Solutions to manage digital platforms, set up IT and tech solutions and to administrate stakeholders, along with optimizing the company’s global commercial strategy.

The position
For the position at GN Hearing we are looking for an experienced Director of E-commerce and Digital Customer Solutions, who is motivated by developing a tech infrastructure that enables individualized customer experiences across both B2B and B2C audiences.

It is the company’s ambition to become even more customer centric, work with a digital-first approach and commercial mindset, deliver tangible long-term outcomes and operate truly networked within the business. Thereto, they are currently strengthening many of the critical competencies, such as customer insights, proposition development, digital planning and activation, and are creating a more flexible and hybrid inhouse creation setup. You will be responsible of the overall commercial, customer-facing platforms and touchpoints, e-commerce, the partner portal and the CRM system; Salesforce.

In close collaboration with a senior team of platform owners – all with extensive knowledge of the industry – you will be the frontrunner of the aim to extend and further develop the customer experience to increase customer loyalty in combination with end-user engagement. This by being strong within your area and by influencing and collaborating for the best digital solution across the organization with Product management, IT and R&D.

You will be responsible for bringing the company’s e-commerce to the next level and develop their footprint to transform and support new business models. Together with the Director of Digital Marketing & Performance, you will be integrating and expanding their MarTech and in collaboration with IT, you will be responsible for setting the technology roadmap for the company’s digital platforms.

It is a crucial part of this role to broaden the data-driven mindset for both the team and the stakeholders within the organization, hence you will be leveraging data across the platforms for insights and documentation.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and integrate current systems to new business requirements
  • Plan and execute on the digital technology roadmap with Head of Digital Marketing & Performance
  • Assume budget responsibility for the IT development for E-commerce, CRM and the Partner Portal
  • Work with the company’s newly set venture lab to accelerate projects focusing on digitization and new business models
  • Administrate and drive a team of 6-7 people – and more to come in the future.
  • Develop and recommend solutions that offer customers additional value in order to scale the customer database and increase loyalty towards the customers

 

Your profile
To succeed in the position, you are strongly data-driven and excel within the field of IT/technology. You have extensive marketing experience as well as a commercial mindset and approach. Furthermore, solid stakeholder management skills are a must as you will be working in close collaboration with the company’s IT, Product Management and R&D departments.

You are a competent leader who manages to set a strategic direction and communicate it effectively to your team. You find the intersection between sales and digital marketing exciting and enjoy working within this field. You have experience from working in an international and rather complex coorporation, hence have a wide understanding of the corporate world and organizational challenges it brings. If you moreover have hands-on experience, it is seen a plus but is not a requirement. Preferably, you have a background as a Program- or E-commerce Manager, and it is essential that you possess a solution-oriented mindset and that you follow and are interesting in digital trends and tendencies within the industry.

 You are an innovative and creative leader, who is not afraid of challenge the status quo and you inspire others to do so. With fine analytical skills and the ability to oversee strategies and plans, you are highly organized and disciplined and never lose track of neither projects or deadlines. You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are comfortable in taking the stage presenting your thoughts and ideas to a broad and differentiated audience at all levels. Yet, you hold the capacity to listen effectively and inspire trust, which you combine with a high level of both personal and professional integrity.
