The position
Our drive is to become even more customer centric, work with a digital-first approach and commercial mindset, deliver tangible long-term outcomes, and operate truly networked within the business. As part of this we are currently strengthening many of the critical competencies, such as customer insights, digital planning and activation, and are creating a more flexible hybrid in-house creation set-up.

As the new Digital Media Manager, you will become part of GN’s Digital Marketing and Performance Team and have the overall responsibility for demand creation and optimization through digital marketing channels such as SEM, Social, Programmatic and email. We have a range of different lead- and interest generating programs running in various markets and it’s your responsibility to continuously plan and optimize the targeting, conversions and ROI from our digital outreach initiatives.

As our Digital Media Manager, you will be working strategically and tactically by providing inputs to the markets and by improving the quality of digital demand creation from both product launches and ongoing lead programs. Moreover, you will be managing GN Hearing’s media agency and will act as an internal expert responsible for advocating and guiding the markets in digital marketing strategies and execution.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Paid and owned digital media strategy, tactics, planning and execution
  • Continuous optimization, segmentation and targeting
  • Launch activation guidance for the markets
  • Briefing on development of creatives for paid channels
  • Lead and manage the media agency
  • Budget management

You will report to Rune Kiowsky; Director, Head of Global Digital Marketing and Performance, and work from GN Hearing’s HQ in Ballerup, Copenhagen. You can expect approx. 20 travel days per year to the US, Japan and/or Europe (can be negotiated).

Your profile
The ideal candidate comes with broad experience with paid digital media investments and tactics – preferably from a larger media or digital agency. A minimum of 5 years of experience is a must. Experience from working with this discipline in a large corporate setting is a big plus.

We are looking for a hands-on yet strategically skilled profile with a high drive for making progress and challenging status quo. You have hands-on experience with one or more digital marketing disciplines/channels (SEM, social, programmatic) as well as a generalist perspective on the digital marketing eco-system and digital customer journeys. You are able to convey the principles of paid media marketing to less digitally oriented colleagues and will actively seek to advance the agenda with HQ and the markets.

As a person, you are very result-oriented, driven and passionate about what you do. Yet you are patient and are motivated by the challenge of making a change in a complex corporation. You are not afraid of trying something new as well as inspiring others to do so. Further, you possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are comfortable in taking the stage, presenting your thoughts and ideas to a broad audience at all organizational levels.
