Digital Commercial Director for Designit
On behalf of Designit, we are looking for a digital native with commercial acumen to become a part of the director group and drive Designit’s commercial and digital development.

You will join Designit’s Copenhagen director team and thus play a vital role in the continued success and commercial development of Designit. Hence, you will drive and scope projects as well as drive and grow the client portfolio. You will initiate and lead a variety of projects with a broad pallet of clients from various sectors and industries.
You will work at the intersection between commercial and digital development. Therefore, it is essential that you possess both professional integrity and stakeholder management skills to get your agenda through. Designit engages in close collaboration with its clients on projects and you will thus be regarded as a strategic partner. Hence, it is important that you can work both on a strategic and managerial level as well as hands-on on a solution and product advice. In the role, you will lead the development and act as manager and guide your team of designers, creatives, developers, etc. towards the best possible digital set-up and solution for the client.
The ideal candidate comes with 8-10 years of agency or consulting experience and has proven results in developing commercial strategies within the digital sphere. You have a proven track record of account growth within the digital product- and services design, brand building, and digital marketing. Furthermore, you have documented management experience and an interest in motivating employees and ensuring their well-being and development. You possess a solid commercial understanding and excellent customer insight and are thus able to provide profound digital solutions for a wide array of clients. Furthermore, you can continuously develop Designit’s client portfolio – be it NewBizz or upselling to current clients
To be successful in the role, it is vital that you are outgoing, result-oriented, and know how to set a direction together with our clients. You are inclusive, have a natural flair for collaboration, and manage to involve and motivate people around you. It is crucial that you thrive on deadlines and the ability to plan according to these. Moreover, you are entrepreneurial and know how to develop, implement and advise on cutting-edge digital solutions for clients whether it is the implementation of a new CRM platform, consulting on e-commerce architecture, or designing a new digital product experience.
Additionally, you possess great interpersonal skills and have experience with people management and talent development. It is expected that you have experience working with international companies and can communicate fluently in English, orally and in writing. In addition, you are experienced in the preparation and quality assurance of business development plans and KPIs to be presented to a board of directors, and it comes naturally to you to be part of a management team.
