On behalf of LIEWOOD, we are currently looking for a talented, passionate Creative Lead to join the graphic design team, and be responsible for maintaining and developing the entire visual brand identity.

LIEWOOD is an international kids' lifestyle brand designing and producing accessories, interior and selected clothing for babies and children. LIEWOOD products are created with a sustainable mindset - from design and functionality to carefully selected materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, wood and silicone, following the highest quality standards.

LIEWOOD is a dynamic, design-driven, and highly commercial company in rapid growth - founded in 2015 by Anne Marie Lie Norvig with the desire and commitment to create a unique kid's lifestyle brand focusing on functionality, esthetics and sustainability. LIEWOOD is based in Copenhagen, and our universe is deeply rooted in the Nordic design tradition.


The position
As a Creative Lead at LIEWOOD, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the entire visual brand identity in all areas with a visual presence. This includes digital channels (e-com & social media), print media, PR, B2B platforms and partners. In collaboration with the marketing and graphic team, one of your core responsibilities will be the development and growth of the visual identity and storytelling on platforms like LIEWOOD.com, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn etc. As Creative Lead, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing, Head of E-commerce, and Creative Director/CEO.

The company expects that you can both create content yourself and manage and distribute work in the team. Furthermore, it is expected that you are capable of outsourcing work when a project requires it.

In collaboration with the Head of Marketing and the graphic design team, you will be responsible for translating strategic insights and creative directions into high-quality performances of visual communication and graphic design.

You will lead a team of four graphic designers, where collaboration is central, in order to achieve the best results for LIEWOOD. Each graphic designer has individual focus areas, and it will be your responsibility to overlook the team’s efforts and ensure coherence in LIEWOOD’s visual expression in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing. Furthermore, in close collaboration with the Creative Director/CEO and the team of designers, you must ensure LIEWOOD’s strong brand and visual identity in all touchpoints with customers, both B2B and B2C at the 4 annual collection launches.

In this role you will ensure consistency in LIEWOOD’s graphic identity across communication platforms and through every touchpoint with consumers and customers, and you will take LIEWOOD’s visual identity and communication to the next level. Measurement and control of the graphic process will also be a central part of your job.

Your base will be at our head office in central Copenhagen. You will refer directly to the Head of Marketing.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Team Lead, creative lead of 4 graphic designers
  • Branding, visual identity and the overall conceptual development
  • Facilitation of creative processes - internally in LIEWOOD and for customers
  • Development of ideas and visual concepts
  • Development of content for digital channels
  • Concept development in connection with the launch of collections
  • Planning and preparation of content for both print and digital in collaboration with the graphic team
  • Responsibility for the development of sales material, both B2B and B2C
  • Responsibility for development and updating of packaging design, in collaboration with the design department


Your profile
The ideal candidate comes with a graphic or visual educational as a graphic designer or similar. You have experience in leading a team and at least 5 years of experience as Art Director, Graphic Designer or similar with a strong background in online and digital design, preferably from a similar company or agency. You are creative and innovative and hold strong skills in both idea, concept and execution on all platforms. You are structured, curious and has a winning mentality and fast execution ability. Furthermore, you are a strong storyteller across platforms, strong at cross-platform execution and are always up to date on trends and tendencies.

You hold strong skills in Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, and preferably you also have experience with Motion Graphics and/or film production. You master English and Danish on a high professional level, both written and orally.
