Client Service Director for Ogilvy

To expand Ogilvy’s client portfolio and strengthen the agency’s position in Denmark, we are looking for a strategic and passionate Client Service Director with the ability to sell new ideas and solutions, who effortlessly will be leading and advising both key clients and a dedicated team.

The position
Entering the position as Client Service Director, you will be part of Ogilvy’s new and interesting journey, responsible for several consumer brands and key clients. It is therefore essential that you are ambitious and strategic and possess a strong commercial drive – presenting you as the right profile to develop network- and outreach efforts to both existing and potential customers in order to maintain and expand the agency’s client portfolio. You will thereto be in charge of developing and executing Ogilvy’s new business activities whilst developing and strengthening the company’s contact- and sales efforts. With a natural flair for new business activities and with an extensive knowledge and understanding of the B2B market, you will moreover be responsible for securing quality in processes, strategic and creative deliveries, channel, campaign and brand development, budgets and team efforts. This includes playing a key role in strategic advising to clients, channel strategy, campaign development on large projects, and communications strategy development and execution.

Essential functions and responsibilities include:

  • Be a strategic point of contact for consumer brands and key clients, establish strong relationships and create and develop commercial opportunities with existing clients maximising account and revenue growth
  • Build a pipeline of future work and ensure that the company’s existing client revenue target is achieved
  • Obtain client feedback and drive increases in client satisfaction and engagement
  • Present a high level of service and professionalism towards clients at all times
  • Work with the management team to bring creative solutions to prospective clients and to build the business of potential clients
  • Promote the company’s purpose and vision and ownership of its values and strategic objectives
  • Sell and orchestra multichannel campaigns with Social as pivot point
  • Create effective processes and information flows between client services team and other disciplines within the agency
  • Contribute to client’s business growth by identifying new opportunities by showing a continuous interest and understanding of client’s needs and societal trends
  • Foster a productive and empowering working environment and providing your team with all necessary tools and training to improve core expertise and continued growth

You will be part of Ogilvy’s Copenhagen office and daily lead, engage and motivate both your team and clients, ensuring an effective and motivating team spirit and making brands matter for the generations to come.

Your profile

With exemplary client service talents along with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships, you have well-developed interpersonal skills and naturally approach and interact with both existing clients and potential new customers. You possess moreover outstanding communications and presentation skills, oral as well as written, and are not afraid of exploring uncharted territories or entering the scene addressing a broad and differentiated audience. This with strong leadership skills, enabling you to make wise decisions and drive client service excellence and a culture of delighting clients. Simultaneously, you are a people person at heart and have the abilities to lead and guide a team whilst ensuring professional and personal growth for every individual.

The ideal candidate holds a degree within Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising or Communications and comes with at least 5-7 years of work experience from a similar client service role from a communication or marketing agency. Your mindset is a perfect mix of strategic, commercial and innovative, and with solid experience in branding and communications strategies, you have what it takes to think and present on a strategic level and know how communicative tools can solve clients’ problems. If you furthermore have experience in collaborating with media agencies, it is seen as a great advantage. An essential note for this role is experience with B2B as well as with selling and managing multi-channel campaigns.
