Client Service Director for Advance
Advance is looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Client Service Director with a strong strategic mind-set, who will be responsible for some of the agency’s biggest clients primarily within BTB & MedTech and who is able to maintain strong relations with existing customers, develop their client portfolio and strengthen the agency’s position in Denmark and internationally.
Established in 1976, Advance is one of Denmark's largest independent agencies and is partner owned and managed. They are located in central Copenhagen and have 60 employees hailed from many different countries. Their perspective is distinctly global, and today more than 80% of their work is produced for international audiences.
Advance is a creative communication agency that uses strategy and insight-based creativity to help Danish and international companies sharpen their competitive edge. This includes both corporate branding and campaign development, from positioning, messaging strategies, concept development, definition & development of digital eco-systems, content production and implementation. In their work with their clients, they believe less can be more – and for a brand to identify its true uniqueness and commercial potential, it needs to strip away the layers that distract from its central mission.
Lastly, Advance holds an impressive customer portfolio, which consist of companies such as LEGO, Coloplast, WSA, Danfoss, Norden, ISS, SimCorp, COOLA, Carestream Dental and Johnson & Johnson brands like o.b., Ipaflex and Ipren.
Advance is currently looking for an experienced Client Service Director, who will be one of the key points of contact for day-to-day management of the agency and for some of its biggest clients primarily within the BTB & MedTech industry. With a strong strategic focus, the Client Service Director will set the direction and framework for both existing and potential clients, and with a deep understanding of customers’ needs and wants, you will act as the main driver of establishing strong and sustainable relationships.
Further, as the new Client Service Director, you will convey strategic, creative and state of the art consultancy to prospective clients and be responsible for developing and executing the agency’s new bizz strategies. Hereto, with great involvement in strategic accomplishments and presentations, you will be responsible for finding, reaching and approaching customers, and subsequently cultivate them to make and keep them satisfied with new services and ideas. Hence, with the right knowledge of customer care and loyalty, your daily work includes conventional nurturing and attention of clients with the aim of ensuring the creation of long-term value for both Advance, customers, markets and relationships.
The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree or a similar education within marketing, communication or business and comes with a commercial proven track-record of strategic solutions from similar positions in an agency. Previous experience with handling of international BTB & MedTech clients, is a plus but not a must. You possess strong skills within customer and project management, thus have a natural talent in inspiring and advising clients, and you are engaged in relations and constantly strive for maintaining efficient relationships. Driving new potential customers to the agency along with developing existing ones are facets you find thrilling and motivating, why you possess the abilities to create new businesses and strategies based on a strong commercial drive and understanding. Hence, you will work with the strategic aspect of new bizz and execute on these. You have flair for developing and coordinating projects and you can determine the best utilization of resources to increase customer satisfaction. This includes a fine understanding of the digital aspects and tendencies within the industry, and you find it interesting and important to always be well-informed about digital trends.
