As Brand Strategist, you will play a vital role in developing the corporate brand on several levels, as Milestone is building the brand aligned with their new versions of video technology. The branding department is continuously launching campaigns, products and events, and function as a strategic partner for the organization on future projects.
You will drive a best-in-class brand strategy and create awareness by being a strong storyteller, in close collaboration with the Head of Brand Strategy & Marketing Creation. You will be developing and executing strategies for brand building and activation activities, and create and perform presentations for management.
Furthermore, you will be a strategic partner & support for the two leaders in Brand Strategy & Market Creation, as well as ensure a strategic level of briefs for the marketing department. Milestone has come a good way, so you will work on a strong foundation including value propositions and key messages. It is therefore crucial, that you are able to cut to the bone and grow the brand in line with the core brand strategy, and align their efforts with the newly defined business strategy. Also, they need more and deeper insights delivered by you, in order to get into the essence of the brand.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing strategies for brand building and activation activities
- Initiating and driving the brand strategic projects, and creating awareness campaigns that match the new business strategy.
- Ensuring that all branding and marketing activities are founded on the strategy
- Developing precise and actionable briefs for creative teams – in-house and externally
- Assist your creative colleagues in the development of debriefs - to briefs from stakeholders in the organization.
- Deliver feedback on concepts and campaigns for both brand strategy and brand awareness campaigns
- Digging out important insights to fuel the strategic thinking in all projects running through the department (from stakeholders across the complex Milestone organization).
- Bringing innovative approaches to the ever-evolving business
You can look forward to business-critical responsibility and freedom to perform in a team of skillful marketing professionals in the in-house agency. You will become part of the Brand Strategy & Marketing Creation department consisting of 15 people in total and report to the Head of Brand Strategy & Marketing Creation. Your colleagues will be Creatives, Copywriters, Art Directors, Brand Managers, etc. Moreover, the department collaborates closely with external agencies and freelancers.
The ideal candidate comes with a master’s degree in relevant areas, such as International Marketing Management, Business Administration or the like. You have substantial experience from similar strategy roles – either from agencies or in-house strategy departments. You are a strong storyteller and communicator, which is seen in your brand building results. Moreover, you are an extrovert and consist strong project management, facilitation and presentation skills. Experience from related tech businesses is an advantage, but not a demand. You have a natural curiosity toward new perspectives and novel research, and you are talented in bridging technology, strategy and branding. You possess a problem-solving mindset and thrive in an international cross-collaborative organization. You master both independent workflows and team spirit, and as English is the corporate language, you are strongly fluent in both oral and written English.
