The position

As the new Supply Chain Specialist for NutraQ, you will have a central and important role in following the production flow from raw materials to finished products. This includes maintaining product demand in line with marketing forecasts, coordinating procurement of raw materials, packaging, and production supplies, while ensuring accurate forecasting and timely delivery follow-ups over a 12-month horizon. Additionally, monthly reporting to various stakeholders on inventory status, forecast accuracy, internal sales orders, and inventory movements is integral to the role's responsibilities.

The role involves implementing corrective actions as needed, adhering to approved plans and budgets, and ensuring compliance with internal routines, policies, quality standards, and relevant legal regulations. Additionally, the responsibilities include coordinating logistics for operations and research and development, facilitating monthly meetings, conducting monthly supply chain reviews, and holding status meetings with the leadership to ensure a seamless flow of goods from production to warehouses.

More specifically, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

  • Maintain product demand according to forecasts from marketing and plan purchase/production accordingly.
  • Purchase and follow-up deliveries of raw materials, product boxes, packaging, and production
  • Monitor transportation flow between suppliers, packaging sites, and warehouses
  • Track deliveries of all purchases and productions according to given lead-times
  • Maintain communication with suppliers regarding accurate forecast/rolling demand over 12 months
  • Ensure SAP compliance and verify that master data is updated and correct for BOM, materials order status, inventory status, and inbound/outbound deliveries
  • Manage the common mailbox log@nutraq.com
  • Assist in project development
  • Monthly reporting containing status on inventories and forecast accuracy as well as towards accounting regarding internal sales orders and inventory movements

You will be part of the supply chain team and report to Jon Øyvind Bendiksen, Supply Chain Director.

Your profile

The ideal candidate comes with a relevant academic background on a master’s degree-level preferably with a commercial emphasis in logistics or supply chain management. You come with approximately 2-4 years of experience in growth companies or commercial enterprises, with specific expertise in forecasting and production planning, as well as transportation management and planning.

It is expected that you have experience with analytical tools and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or analysis tools. Additionally, you should possess great technical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. You hold an analytical and strategic mindset with a solid understanding of business, complemented by high operational and exceptional execution skills.

As a person, you are curious, open-minded, and have a keen desire to learn new things. With great self-motivation, you are determined and results-oriented. Your work approach is structured and organized, allowing you to easily plan and structure complex tasks and business operations. Moreover, you possess the ability to create good relationships both internally and externally, take responsibility, and demonstrate a self-starter attitude, ensuring tasks are initiated and completed effectively. Your work is characterized by accuracy and structure, and you are driven by curiosity and a continuous quest for improvement.
