Global Creative Director for Keepit

On behalf of Keepit, we are looking for a Creative Director, who can conceptualize designs and communication into visual images and storytelling, creating relevant B2B campaigns, and business communications. Your purpose will be to support the business by building brand awareness and driving leads through striking and engaging content together with a team of creatives, led by you.

To help with that effort, Keepit is looking for an inspiring Creative Director, who can lead a team of creatives in generating engaging visual concepts and content. A profile that comes with the right skill set to help direct and execute together with his or her team of creatives.

The position
As the Creative Director you will play a key role in establishing Keepit as a leader in the global SaaS data protection market, defining and conceptualizing the brand’s visual identity. This includes rejuvenating Keepit’s CVI taking this to the next level, as well as guiding your team in creating designed content that aligns with Keepit’s branding and marketing strategies. Key to the role is that you understand how to engage and maintain a close and dynamic dialog with all stakeholders involved.

In this position, you will be part of an intense journey, supporting the company mission of global leadership by defining, creating, and preaching a strong brand from a visual strategy. You will be leading a team of talented creatives, and the mission of your team is to conceptualize and execute design elements of all kinds to strengthen Keepit’s positioning through storytelling and visual branding, implementing the company’s ethos: ‘One Voice – One Brand’.

The Creative team is an integrated part of the global Brand and Marketing department, entailing the following main functions: Product Marketing, Field & Channel Marketing, Demand Generation, and PR, Comms and Creatives.  The Creative team currently includes two talented graphic designers who work closely with in-house copywriters, product marketeers and demand generation specialists, in a joint effort to position Keepit and drive business. In the Creative team there is an additional opening for a videographer.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, drive, inspire, and develop your team of creatives.
  • Own the creative strategy for Keepit’s brand and take on the role as Keepit’s “brand champion” – the enthusiast who can promote the importance of brand internally in a passionate and convincing way.
  • Create and implement Keepit’s visual brand identity (CVI), conceptualize campaigns, and develop content for a multitude of marketing activities across digital platforms and physical events: SoMe channels, conferences, general employer branding, to mention but a few.
  • Ensure consistent and engaging design deliverables that are on-brand, delivered within deadline, and resonate with Keepit’s customers.
  • Ensure your team has a close and transparent collaboration across the Global Brand & Marketing team.

The position is based out of Keepit’s Copenhagen office located at Parken, the national stadium of Denmark, with a beautiful view of the park and the sea.

Your profile
You come with a solid background as senior art director or similar in advertising and/or marketing. You already have some experience in leading a small team, and you have a proven record of strong and convincing creative skills. Ideally you carry proficiency in cross-media design, communications, and visual storytelling. You understand the creative production process from strategy to idea and execution, you have experience with the creative toolbox e.g., Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Illustrator. It is essential that you possess conceptual, visual, and creative skills and thrive on the art of storytelling, design as well as in solving complex creative challenges to drive business success.


You are an inspiring and creative leader who has the mind and skills to set the strategy and direction with the team of creatives, along with a close collaboration with the full Brand and Marketing team. You know how to motivate and lead your team to continuously deliver strong and effective creative concepts that resonate with Keepit’s target audience: IT professionals and business decision makers.

Ideally you have already worked in a commercial organization, and preferably have experience with global B2B markets.
